Verify your truck

For food truck operators: apply once, then book open days at South Florida sites yourself. We review applications within 5 business days.

Have these ready (each file under 10 MB)

  1. 1Business license or local business tax receipt: the 2026–27 receipt, valid through September 30, 2027
  2. 2County health permit
  3. 3Mobile food vendor license (DBPR or FDACS)
  4. 4General liability certificate
  5. 5Commercial auto certificate
  6. 6Vehicle registration
  7. 7Fire safety inspection

Also have 1–3 photos of the outside of your truck or trailer.

Insurance requirements

  • General liability of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, including products-completed operations and Food Truck Nation, LLC as additional insured by endorsement (CG 20 10, CG 20 26, CG 20 37, or a blanket "where required by written contract" form). Being listed as certificate holder alone doesn't meet this.
  • A food-trailer endorsement if you operate a trailer.
  • Commercial auto liability of at least $1,000,000 combined single limit.
  • Your coverage must be primary and non-contributory as to FTN's additional-insured coverage.
  • Where your insurer will agree to it, your policy or certificate should provide FTN at least 30 days' prior written notice of cancellation. Either way, you must notify FTN within 5 business days of any cancellation, non-renewal, lapse, or material change to required coverage, and you may not book or operate a Site Day while required coverage is not in force.

With FLIP or NEXT, you can add the endorsement yourself online. With a traditional agent, we'll send you the exact wording after you apply.

Use an email address you check. We'll send your operator code there once you're verified.

Please read the Operator Pilot Agreement and the Pilot Terms of Use & Privacy Notice before you apply.
