Cancellations & Refunds
If you're an operator
• Cancel more than 24 hours before the Site Day's start time: 50% of FTN's booking fee is refunded. On a priced site, the host's price is also refunded in full.
• Cancel 24 hours or less before the start time, or don't show: nothing is refunded. On a priced site, the host keeps its price.
• The 24-hour line is measured from the Site Day's start time, not the calendar date.
If the host cancels
The operator is refunded in full, at FTN's cost. A site that's locked, blocked, or unusable when the truck arrives counts as a host cancellation. There's no host cancellation fee during the pilot, but repeated cancellations end a host's participation.
Weather and other events outside anyone's control
If a hurricane or tropical storm, an evacuation or government order, a fire, a utility failure, a public health emergency, or another event outside anyone's control makes a Site Day impossible or unsafe, either side may cancel without fault. The operator is refunded in full, FTN's fee included. FTN may issue that refund as a credit toward a future booking instead.
If a Site Day is cut short
If the host, the property owner, or a public authority ends a Site Day after the truck arrives, FTN refunds its fee in full, and the host's price too on a priced site.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Banks usually take 5–10 business days to show them.
